Support that builds independence,
not dependence.
Melbourne Mentors was created because too many boys and men are receiving support that helps them cope, but not grow.
We work with boys and men who are navigating ADHD, autism, trauma, addiction, or loneliness, often without reliable role models or clear structure in their lives.
What We Do
Support Areas
1. One-on-One Mentorship & Community Support
Participants work with a dedicated mentor to build routines, confidence, and practical life skills. Support may include social engagement, physical activity, goal setting, and daily living support.
2. Education & Self-Understanding
We provide education around neurodiversity, emotional regulation, habits, decision-making, and wellbeing. This helps participants better understand themselves and how to manage challenges more effectively.
3. Physical Health & Lifestyle Support
Movement, fitness, and healthy routines are integrated into our support. Physical wellbeing is a key part of mental health and personal development.
4. Community & Group Programs
Group activities and workshops reduce isolation and help participants build social skills, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Participant Journey
Support is tailored to each individual, but generally follows a clear progression:
Building trust and stability
Developing skills, confidence, and direction
Increasing independence and reducing reliance on support
Progress is reviewed regularly, with the long-term goal of greater autonomy and participation in work, education, or community life.
